Prayer Update

I am copying this from the blog from earlier, so that you may have an update:

I got an update from Amy today about Kristi. She had her first treatment with no reaction so far and she gets to go home to her mom's house! Her whole family will be staying there. She will be in bed, but they will all be together. Praise God. Pray for peace in that wonderfully full home and for continued healing of Kristi's c-section wound. The cancer medicine is causing it to heal slowly. Thank you all for your continued prayers!

Urgent Prayer Needed

Ok, so this is going be seem strange, but I believe that all things happen for a reason, and that God causes no accidents. But, I stumbled upon a couple of blogs this morning asking for prayer for a woman I don't even know, and after praying for her, I felt prompted to post her story and ask for prayer from any of you that read this. This is what I copied from one of the blogs:

Please Pray
Folks, I've got to ask you all urgently to pray for some friends. So as not to give too many personal details, I need to be a little sketchy here.Chuck and Kristy just found out that she has stage 4 bone cancer and stage 4 liver cancer as well. The doctors are checking to see if she also has breast cancer. They have 2 children, age 4 and under, and Kristy was pregnant with their third child when the cancer was discovered (just last week, I think). The baby was delivered immediately (a month early), but is doing fine. She has been transferred to a cancer unit and will begin a very aggressive chemo very soon. Please, please pray for this family. Thank you.

Trunk or Treat

Our old church had their annual Fall Festival/Trunk or Treat this past Sunday, and we thought it would be fun for the boys to go and see their friends. (And maybe for mom and dad to see their friends too!) Anyway, we had a great time and the boys got to do their first bungy-trampoline thingy! They looked so cute flying through the air!
The funniest thing about Sunday is that Carson's friend Reed was dressed as a miniature Yoda, and he is now up there with Chuck E Cheese, fake Dora, and the Chick Fil-A cow! (Which by the way, he does not like so much). He backed up behind me so fast, you would have thought there was a snake coming!

Jason's New Car

He wishes anyway! Our neighbor down the street just got this and brought it over to show us. Now we have 2 almost identical corvettes on our street!

Jump, Jump, Jump

Ok, so Friday we went to a family fun night at Let's Jump sponsored by The Exchange. There were a ton of families there, and we all had a super great time! And by the way, it is maybe not a good idea for all 3 of us to go down the slide together! (Hindsight is always 20/20 right?) Oh, and if you are wondering where Jason is in all this, he was behind the camera, because he hurt is back earlier that day. :(

Pumpkins Galore

So the boys and I decorated their pumpkins with stickers, and I have to say they turned out really cute! I love how Carson's stickers make a perfect ring around the top and Dalton's are all over the place! It definitely shows their different styles. Later that night we had "mummy dogs" for dinner!

Saturday

Finally! Last day-this has been alot more than I thought it would be when I decided to take on the challenge! A challenge it has been to try and remember to take pictures all day of everything. It has however, sparked my creativity to start taking more pics of the boys again!

So, today started out well, Jason closed my door and let me sleep late...7:45. He also took care of the boys, unloaded the dishwasher, and made me coffee! What a sweet husband! And then, he was off! His CMA group was doing a benefit ride Bikers for Babies, for the Arlington Pregnancy Crisis Center.

Ok, brace yourself, but these next pics may bring back some serious memories! We went to an "80's" themed party at The Exchange tonight. And let me tell you, I definitely rocked the 80's look! We had an absolutely wonderful time, and some great laughs!

After this, I am pooped! I think that this has been the busiest week ever! I am pretty sure that not all my weeks are this busy, but I am not willing to continue this documenting thing to find out! But next week, I will be back to my normal posts and stories!

I hope you have all enjoyed a look into our life. Please have a blessed week and above all, don't forget who makes everything possible, our Lord and Savior-Jesus Christ! John 3:16

Friday

Ok, so today I really thought today was going to be a smooth, do-nothing kind of day...well, it doesn't seem like I have very many of those!
Let's see, I was able to get up and do my quiet time. Jason took D to school for me, so that was a big help!
Photobucket
Here's Carson being so cute! It's a ploy!
Photobucket
More laundry...
Photobucket
Me making a tutu for my pretend daughter Lynnleigh. Since I don't have a girl, and her mom isn't very crafty/creative, it works out well!
Photobucket
Carson trying on the tutu! He only did this after I told him who it was for and that it would help me. He is such a trooper! PS, he loves Lynnleigh!
Photobucket
So I caught Carson in the act of coloring on the entertainment center... (Remember how I said that being cute was a ploy?)
Photobucket
And this is him running away from the consequence!

Ok, this is all before 10am. And then we went to my salon and dropped off the tutu, stopped by FBCC to pick up some stuff, and then on to pick up D from school. After that, I went to my friend Stormy's house to pick up some clothes she has blessed us with. We visited for a while and then decided to take the boys to McDonald's. We had a really good time. And during all this, my camera was sitting on the kitchen counter! :(

Photobucket
So when we got home the boys had to put on some of their "new" clothes before nap. No worries Carson, you will grow into that eventually!
Photobucket

Ok, so after yesterday's 4 wheeler fiasco, we decide to go to a dirt riding area and let him loose? When I say we I mean Jason....I am just praying at this point! Did I mention that he now has a chest protector and knee pads?
Photobucket
At first, he didn't want to do it by himself, but he was back to his old self in no time!
Photobucket
Photobucket
Photobucket
And apparently "we" are also letting Carson ride now too!
Photobucket
Getting stuck in the mud...
Photobucket
Getting a little help
Photobucket
Daddy being crazy silly!
Photobucket
He was so not happy about time to leave!

After that we had ice cream and went to bed!
